My thanks to Gary Voogt for this great review - thanks Gary!

Went to a wonderful concert last night at LaGrange Bible Church. My wife, Cindy, and seven of our eight children were all in the third row! He did a wonderful job - as usual.

I took some pictures (see photo section). One has kind of a funny story to it.

Wayne was telling us he is moving.
He indicated that he has been using the "moving thing" for months now to avoid doing things he dislikes. He also told us how sometime you find things you never knew you still had. Then he put on a pair of 80's sunglasses. He wondered at the fact that at one time he really thought they were "cool".

Well, I saw a photo-op! As I was lining up the shot, he spotted me and quickly removed the glasses. He stopped mid-sentence and said (to me) "You didn't get it did ya?" with a big grin on his face! I nodded yes that I did get it, and he said, "Ya got it? Oh, great - it'll be on the Internet by midnight!!! " No one - except my family even knew he was talking directly to me.

Well, I tracked him down after the concert and we spoke for a few minutes. I asked him very pointedly if he minded at all if I took pictures. He was emphatic that he did not mind one bit. I even felt that perhaps he appreciated it. I also said "and I do send pictures occasionally to Harriet for her web site" and his response was, "Great, send her the sunglasses one!"

As you can see by the picture, his hand is on the sunglasses. I showed him the picture and we laughed that - yes, he saw me getting ready to take the picture and was trying to quickly get them off! So, that's the story behind the picture.

There is one where he is telling the story of the bikers in the Harley shop and he is motioning the straight and narrow way and how we don't expect bikers guys in "our heaven".

He sang several from his new album, plus Almighty, Watercolour Ponies, For Such A Time As This, Friend of a Wounded Heart. He DID NOT sing Home Free - Bummer!

One thing he did which was a lot of fun was to sing a couple of lines of Watercolour Ponies imitating Willie Nelson! I couldn't tell the difference and have listened to Willie from time to time.
